I while ago I tried transfer on my DGX670 and it worked. It would be phantastic if preview would be functional some day also.

    Aleš Jazbec Previews won't be very difficult to add if DGX supports registrations and the core transfers are working. If you get a chance to test again if transfers are still working on DGX that would be really helpful to know and then I can add previews on top.
    For the initial release I only added preview support on the PSR-SX and Genos series to test it out, we can now expand the support for other models that support transfers.

        Arthur, could you please explain in detail what you had to do to get the direct transfer working on the DGX670?

        I have StylePlayer.io set to Portable Grand 1 as my input/output device and I have created a STYLES folder on my USB1 drive which is plugged into the DGX670 and referenced as FOLDERS STYLES in the StylePlayer.io setup but when I Download a Style File it goes to my Downloads Folder on my laptop and not to the USB1 drive on the DGX670.

        Also, since the Style File is a ZIP file if it gets downloaded to the USB1 drive in the DGX670 how do you go about Extracting the File on the DGX670?

        Any help you could provide as to how you got this working would be greatly appreciated.

          Key is to look in User, not USB. If you go there and only see New Style and it is empty, hit the up arrow. Thats where i found my downloads had already been saved. Also make sure you click on the style itself so that Direct Transfer is showing. I get the DGX telling me it is communicating with the computer and the app says DGX returned an unexpected response. Hit exit on the DGX, choose a Style and tab to User and file should be there. Hope this helps.

          Arthur, thank you so much for your quick response and excellent detailed instructions which when I left the Transfer Folder BLANK and clicked on the TRANSFER Button it started communicating with the DGX670 just as you had explained it would.

          Once the Style had appeared in the User Folder I then was able to CUT and PASTE it to my STYLES Folder on my USB1.

          Thanks again for your much appreciated help and now if they could just get PREVIEW working on the DGX670, I would be a very happy camper.

          StylePlayer What information do you require about the Yamaha DGX670 that would assist you in being able to get PREVIEW working in StylePlayer.io with this keyboard?

              IvoryBob Do you mean direct transfers in general, or specifically previews (auto load style after transfer)? I think I should be able to gather the necessary info on my own for previews (transfers should work already), just need someone active with the keyboard who would be able to test it.

                  StylePlayer Direct Transfers are working fine, so it is just Previews that currently do not work on the DGX670 and I would be more than willing to test that out for you on the keyboard once you have implemented the changes to the program.

                      Preview worked same as Transfer. Got the same message about unexpected response, but the new style was in the User folder. Presume on some keyboards there is way to try out before transferring but haven't figured that out on the DGX 670. That would be great for testing the OTS voices, but not a big deal, appreciate what you do!_

                      StylePlayer Sorry I'm so late in getting back to you, but I finally had a chance to test this out on the DGX670 and got the same results as Arthur in that the Preview worked in the same manner as if I had selected a Transfer but it did not play the new style which I was expecting to happen but just transferred it to the User folder on the DGX670.

                          StylePlayer Yes, I am also getting an error message but when I hit the EXIT button on the DGX670 the Style is stored to the User Folder Styles on the USB drive where it can then be accessed and played which is the same result as if I were to do a Direct Transfer.

                          I assume that if the Preview was working properly with the DGX670 that it would just start playing the Style without having to transfer it to the USB drive?
