Please update the database to correct the following typos occasioned by bad drop-down lists and fat fingers.

    Those errors are inevitable. I have done more than one myself. The best solution is to make it possible to edit own entries.

      jenygard The editing is coming, but it's not as simple as it looks. We wouldn't want someone in particular to "own" let's say The Beatles (or their songs) only because they uploaded the first style for them and now can rename them to anything at any time (while nobody else can). There is a way to do it safely and transparently based on consensus, it's just not simple to implement. It is high on my todo list so it's coming sooner or later...
      Meanwhile please post all editing requests here if you know about any issues.

          StylePlayer It wasn't a style upload that I had in mind, rather a song suggestion. When I choose the "wrong" version from the database (which is user curated in itself, and with a lot of errors), there is suddenly more than one entry for that song. When I see that, I could correct it myself. That will not interfere with other users and their song suggestions.

            More suggested corrections ....

            Song(s) ascribed to Everly Brothers should be to The Everly Brothers
            The Everly Brothers song Dream should be renamed to All I Have To Do Is Dream

            When I entered the search criteria = Dream I got back a drop-down of 10 songs (plus styles) all of which contained the term Dream, but not the song = Dream. When I typed the search criteria = Dream and then hit Enter I received no songs at all with that term, but one artist Freddie and the Dreamers. Perhaps something not quite right?

            BTW, I have since added a song named Dream by Johnny Mercer and sung by Ella Fitzgerald

              By the way, the added feature of displaying options as (Existing) is proving useful at reducing unwanted duplicates/misspellings.
