Make midi in/out selectors less prominent

Here's a suggestion for further down the track.

I notice many pages have the "Transfer Styles Directly.....Select Midi Output" web part. In my case I've only had to configure for my keyboard once so it appears, to me, as an unnecessary use of real estate. I understand that while the user base grows it makes sense to have it everywhere - and maybe users with multiple keyboards need it? Potentially there could be a "Get Connected" option with everything, including how-to instructions, there?

kaimei19 Yeah good idea. I was thinking about it as well but wasn't sure how to indicate that you are currently connected and correct ports are selected without constantly displaying it. Also how to make it clear for someone who is here for the first time that it's even an option.

Need to think about it, perhaps we can display it in full only if you are not connected, and once connected display a green light somewhere indicating that everything is ok. Or maybe add an option for registered users to switch between full/compact view in their profile.
