Thanks for clarifing things for me.
It would be a good idea to remove the links Live Preview function if it doesnt work.
-- I am also not sure what the Transfer to Folder function is for or how its supoosed to be used ?

J Bran That option lets you specify which subfolder under USER section you want the transferred files to be stored. By default they are stored right in the root folder, but you can tell it to save them under some subfolder like "new_styles" (you need to create that folder first).

Yeah we need to remove or rename that live preview tab. Currently its primary use case is just to see what sections a style contains (how many intros, endings, etc). So maybe we should call it not a "preview" but "inspect" or something like that.

The Saga continues ....here the current situation .

--Tried Live Preview option today and it now works as expected ! I can play various style parts using the keyboard or the screen using the Styleplayer App.
Wonderful option ? Did you do anything at your end or was it a setting at my end.

While using app yesterday i was not able to use the section “Transfer style files directly to your Yamaha keyboard via an USB cable “ both the Preview and Transfer buttons were not available . I found that the day before when i was trying to figure out how the Transfer to Folder option worked i had removed the text “ Transferd to Folder” was gone. Once i was able to get the text back the Preview and Transfer buttons lit up and worked correctly. I had reboot my PC several times so i was surprised that it didn't reset to default.

Happy to say things are now working but........ i am not clear how to set up the Transfer to Folder option. Do i create the new folder on the the keyboard User drive for example folder “SylePlayer Incoming “ When i do that it does nt show in the app box ?

    Thanks JimB

J Bran The download folder is an optional setting, it shouldn't affect the transfer button availability.. If you want your styles to be saved under \USER\SylePlayer Incoming than yes, you need to create SylePlayer Incoming manually inside your keyboard USER folder, then type SylePlayer Incoming into that input box on this site, and then the styles should be saved into this subfolder.

If the transfer and preview button are not enabled it means that the keyboard wasn't connected in the right order. Please see the first post and try to follow all the steps exactly. I just tested it again and everything should work.

Direct transfers is an optional step which is supposed to make it more convenient to transfer styles and not more difficult. If you are having so much trouble you can just download the styles the traditional way through the "download" button and transfer them manually using an usb stick (only need to unzip them first).

Thanks for the help. I have all the options working now.
