Unable to star rate "Fits Song" on Style pages

I am able to rate a style for Overall Quality. On any style page I am able to rate multiple keyboard-specific styles for Overall Quality. These ratings that I make display, as expected, on return visits to the Style page. Here are some observations on the Overall Quality star ratings that I make:-

I am able to revisit a previously made vote and amend it - either increase or decrease in stars.
The vote count in my User Profile does not increase on altering a vote (as expected)
If my rating is either 4 or 5 stars - they generally display as an orange color. (The mouse-over color is pink)
If my rating is 3 or less stars - they display without color. (The mouse-over color is pink)
5 I would expect that all stars show as clear color and (0) count when no votes have been made (which happens) but that otherwise the stars would display as orange, whether 1,2 ...or 5 stars.

I'm unable to rate any style for "Fits Song". The mouse-over color is pink, and remains pink. The vote count number, in this case (0), does not increment. If I leave the page, and subsequently return, the vote has not recorded. The vote count on my User Profile does not increment. I'm unable to rate multiple styles on the same page for "Fits Song" My first attempted unsuccessful vote remains "mouse-over" pink, any other attempts on neighboring versions of the style remain clear.

I'm using FireFox as my browser, and I do have some features like tracking disallowed, but disabling Ghostery and fully trusting StylePlayer.io makes no difference. I have tested using Microsoft Edge as browser (no ad-blocking) and the behaviour is the same. I'm not using VPN.

I can make a star rating for a style by searching for a style by name on the home page search. Then scrolling to the bottom of the page where the user can rate a song for how well the style fits. This will increase the User Profile count and also apply that rating across all the styles on that song's page. Not what's wanted I think, or perhaps it is- see Suggestion #2 below.

I can then edit that star rating on the song's style page, but only for the first keyboard listed (not my keyboard). No other star ratings for keyboard-specific style for that song can be edited. And that edit to the first-listed keyboard is not reflected by revisiting the search on the style and viewing "Fits Style" at the bottom of the page.

Suggestion:-

Disable users' ability to rate "Fits Songs" from that page resulting from a search on the style.
Only allow a user to rate "Fits Song" on the song page - I think where a style shares the same name across all the Yamaha range then that rating could be applied to all instances on that page - in most cases the differences are in the OTS settings/drum types - and the site neatly advises the user of what the shortcomings are for using a style not specific to the user's keyboard.

I made some fixes and redesigned the song page a bit so it is more clear that similar styles have a single song vote. If you can please give it some more testing see if it works as expected now. Also changed the star color to be always orange.

The whole rating system is a bit overcomplicated. Internally all styles are grouped into "adaptations" (same styles across different keyboards). Song fitting ratings are applied at the adaptation group level, not at the individual style level. It makes sense to do it this way as similar styles fit the same songs equally good, so you need to rate the whole group only once. And overall style quality rating is applied at the individual style level. I think the problem is that it is currently not very clear by looking at the site what rating is attached to what. I changed the song page to highlight that song rating is applied to a whole group.

Regarding on what pages the voting should be enabled or disabled. My current rule of thumb is if you are able to make a educated vote decision on this page then the rating should be enabled, and disabled if not. For example, if we look at the general "Styles" page the voting is disabled there because you cannot download a style from that page and listen to it to make a decision on a rating. On the style profile page you can download and evaluate this style, therefore you are allowed to vote on overall style quality and how well this style fits different songs. You cannot download adaptations from that page though, so voting for adaptations is disabled. On the song profile page (the one that got redesigned) you can also download all the styles, so voting is enabled. If it didn't have download links I would disable the rating there.

I can rate a style for "Fits Song" both on the Song page with it's multiple style choices for keyboard variants, and also from the bottom of the Style summary page. I noticed that some of the styles I had suggested for songs over past couple of days have been rated with one vote for "Fits Song" - I suspect you may have done a database update for me there, as I was unable to vote before.

I'm also able to vote on "Overall Quality" - I've tested this on other users' song suggestions as I'd already voted on all my suggestions. My vote for "Overall Quality" is only recorded for the single variant of the style.

In summary, the voting experience seems to work for me now - thanks for your work - it's probably best now to see how others find it over time,
